A significant development has emerged in the case of a fatal accident on August 13, where a BMTC electric bus collided with a two-wheeler rider near the Rupena Agrahara bus stop, causing widespread shock. Initially, after reviewing CCTV footage, it appeared that the bus driver was not at fault.

However, a deeper investigation has revealed a major twist, indicating the driver’s negligence. CCTV footage initially suggested the driver was not responsible, but a thorough examination showed otherwise. The two-wheeler rider, who lost control and collided with an auto-rickshaw, fell onto the road. Despite being rushed to the hospital, the rider could not be saved and succumbed to his injuries. The deceased has been identified as Syed Jaffer Hussain. Following a detailed analysis of the CCTV footage, it was confirmed that the bus driver was at fault.
