Revanth Reddy has acknowledged that the guarantee schemes have adversely affected the state’s financial health. Similar to Himachal Pradesh, Telangana has experienced delays in salary and pension payments. With the state treasury depleted, an additional Rs 70,000 crore is needed to sustain these schemes, pushing the state further into a debt spiral.
