“Teachers’ Day 2025”: A Day to Honor Educators on the Birth Anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan

Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was a renowned philosopher, teacher, and statesman. When some of his students wished to celebrate his birthday, he humbly suggested that instead of celebrating his birth, the day should be dedicated to all teachers. Since then, September 5 has been recognized as Teachers’ Day in India.
