Pune (Maharashtra), September 27, 2025: During the inauguration of the 'Swadeshi 4G Network' in Pune, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his visionary leadership, crediting him with establishing India's global stature as a "Vishwaguru" (world teacher or leader). The event marked a significant milestone in India's push for self-reliance in telecommunications, coinciding with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited's (BSNL) 25th anniversary.

Many development works have been done, and in the coming 10 years, even more will be accomplished, which was not done earlier."
