Rupee Boost for Global Trade: RBI Takes Major Step to Reduce Dependence on the Dollar

India has taken stronger measures to enhance the internationalization of the Indian Rupee. The RBI (Reserve Bank of India) is enabling trade partners to settle deals directly in the Rupee instead of the US Dollar.
