Protest for Sugarcane Price Fixation; Pressure on Government Under Leadership of Belagavi District President Shri Shankar Bha Madalagi

Participating today in the ongoing day-and-night sit-in protest at Chennamma Circle in Bailhongal town of Belagavi district, which has been blocking the road for the past three days, and addressing the gathering in support of the farmers, Shri Shankar Bha Madalagi, President of the Secular Janata Dal Belagavi District Unit, urged the government to pay ₹3,500 per tonne of sugarcane.
