Elephant Alert! Prohibitory Orders Issued in 12 Villages of Chikkamagaluru District

The increased movement of wild elephants in Chikkamagaluru has heightened anxiety among the public. As a safety measure, prohibitory orders have been enforced from February 24 to 26 in 12 villages, including Moogthihalli and Vastare. The operation to drive the wild elephants back into the forest is currently underway, and the district administration has instructed people to remain cautious. An appeal has been made to avoid unnecessary travel at night.
